Happy Anniversary?!?

Good Evening and Happy Sunday!

I have been away for wayyyyy too long, but I’m back. Today is actualy my one year anniversary on this website and my posts lately have been less than exciting. Well, my goal is to come back stronger than ever and I have so much to catch you guys up on.

What’s New!

First and foremost, I am switching grade levels. My co-teacher and I have decided to loop and will be moving with our kinder babies to first grade. I am so excited and yet, still so nervous about this new endeavor. I have heard of the benefits of looping and truly believe that this will benefit all involved. I ‘ll make sure to keep you guys updated on that!

Second, I am working on becoming a certified foster parent. I believe I said it before, but I live in NY and every state is different. I will be making a post detailing the process that I have had to go through and where I am at in the process. I am beyond excited for this opportunity and I do truly believe that this is what I’m meant to do at this point in my life.

Third and definitely the hardest for me, I am in debt. Now, I’ve talked before about my journey to graduate college debt free and remain debt free. Unfortunately, I was in a car accident about a month ago. My car was totaled and it was time to get a new car. I knew that I wanted to have an SUV before I started having children and timing just worked out where it was time for me to get an SUV a little sooner than I planned. Because I wanted the safest and the best option, I went with the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. I absolutely love this car and would not trade it for the world, but it has contributed to my debt. My cat, Kiko, was hospitalized a few months ago which also added to my debt. Anyway, the point in me telling you all of this is because I am starting my debt free journey. I look forward to sharing this with you all as well.

I appreciate all of the recent follows, likes and comments during my absence. 2019 has been a heck of a year for me so far, but I am choosing to see the positive and turn around. I don’t want to make any promises, but I would like to start off with a weekly blog post and see how that goes. I had a really strong passion for this last year and unfortunately let it go. I would definitely like to get back into the groove of things and get back to posting frequent content! I appreciate all the support and am glad to be back.

Happy 1 year anniversary friends!

Love, Cuwani
