Budget tips!

Happy Friday!

I’m here with some budget tips. This is especially important as we are coming up on the holiday season! I am usually pretty stocked up on the basics and necessities and that helps to limit frivolous spending when I really don’t need to. I stock up on these things during sales and usually don’t have to stock up again for a few months. I am a family of one, so this may not work for my followers with families. (Sorry guys!) But, for my single independent people out there, I’m here for you!

What I Always Have Stocked

  • Chicken and seafood (in the freezer)
  • Canned veggies
  • Rice
  • Pasta and pasta sauces
  • Other non-perishable items
  • Paper towels and toiletry items (in the linen closet)

I like to stock all of these because if I ever have unexpected expenses, I always have the basics needed in order to make it through until my next paycheck. I don’t go overboard with shopping normally, but this helps to limit my spending throughout the weeks. Usually, I only by fresh fruits and vegetables each week. Whenever I make something new, I either follow a recipe or try to use up the things that are going bad soon. This helps to make sure that food isn’t going to waste.

What are some things you do to keep your expenses low? Leave them in the comments!
